Today I went to Harrogate Town AFC to take a look at the pitch.
I got talking to Ian, a very nice man, who is also the head groundsman.

But we also talked about how the seasons have changed.
Yes, we still get spring, summer, autumn and winter, BUT, we now get micro season.
A micro season is a short extreme weather period, that may well not be the weather you'd expect of that season.
It's changing how professional and residential lawns get looked after.
